Here is another Spicy Rice recipe. To make less spicy you can reduce Red chili and Garam masala powder quantity. We as a family like spice hence i add more red chili. Try to make all Veggies finely chopped so you will get good taste.
Ingredients
1 Cup Rice ( I used AmbeMohar )
1/4 Cup Finely chopped Onion
1/4 Cup Mix veggies I have used frozen you can use fresh too ( Corn,Carrots,Green beans )
1/4 Chopped Cabbage
1/4 Finally chopped Tomatoes
1 Tsp Ginger and Garlic Paste
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Tsp Salt ( as per taste )
2 Tsp Red Chili powder
1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 Tsp Goda Masala
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Roasted Cumin Powder ( you can roast Cumin a little on Pan and grind it )
1 Tsp Sugar ( Optional )
Preparations :
Wash rice and soak in water for 10-15 min
While rice is getting soaked cut all veggies and Spices ready
Process
In pot add Oil on Medium heat
Add Ginger Garlic paste and stir until raw smell gone
add Onion cook until Translucent
Add All Veggies and cook for 30 Sec
Add all Spices together ( chili,Turmeric, Masalas,Salt,Sugar,Coriander and Cumin powder)
Mix well
Drain water from Rice and add into pot
Mix well
Cook for close to 1 min without water
Add water ( I used 1 and half cup of Water )
Stir and cook for 10 min on High flame
then once little water left in Rice low the flame and Cook with lid for another 7-8 min
13. Keep eye make sure rice is not sticking at bottom of pot
Curd Rice is one the most easy and simple Rice recipe and to cook rice i used pressure cooker so it can be sticky and curd rice will come perfect and tasty :)

1 Cup Rice 1 and half cup Curd 1/2 Cup Milk 1 tsp Salt 1 Tbsp Soaked Moong or Urad dal
For Tadka
1 Tbsp Oil 4-5 Dry Red chilies 5-6 Curry leaves Asofadita/ Hing Ginger ( 1 inch ) Chopped
Preparation :
Soak Moong/Urad dal in water for 10-15 min Using Pressure cooker Take 2 whistles and keep it in Bowl else you may wnat to cook in open pot for 15-17 min until its fully cooked
Process:
1. Take Cooked rice in bowl 2. Add Curd and mix well 3. Mash a little 4. Add milk and mix well 5. Add salt 6. Tadka : Add oil 7. Dry chili , Moong Dal and cook for 1 min 8. Add ginger and roast until raw smell gone 9. Add curry leaves and Asofadita 10. Pour it on Rice 11. Here you go Curd rice is ready 12. This is quick and easy recipe for lunch box , breakfast or brunch. It will take less than 15 min to prepare. This recipe will make 12-15 Small size Dhirade ( Pancake )
Ingredients
- 2 Cup Wheat flour - 1/4 Cup Gram Flour - 1 tsp Chili powder - 1 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Carom seeds - 1 tsp salt ot as per taste - Water as needed - 1 Cup Onion - 1/4 cup Tomatoes - 1 clove of garlic chopped - Coriander leaves chopped
Process -
1. Add Wheat and Gram flour in bowl 2. Add Chili , Coriander, Turmeric powder and Carom seeds and salt 3. Add all veggies 4. Add water and make thick consistency 5. heat pan 6. Grease pan with oil 7. Pour little batter on Pan and make small round shape
This recipe will serve 2-3 people and medium spice level.

Process -
1. In a little oil roast Cashews and keep aside 2. Roast onions and get it brown and add tomatoes to it cook it for another 3-4 min and keep it aside 3. Roast Coconut til brown and keep aside 4. Add all Roasted stuff in Mixture ( Cashews , Coconut , onion tomatoes ) and 2 Garlic cloves 5. Make it into thick Masala paste
6. In another clean pan add 3 and half Tbsp oil in pan 7. Once oil is heated add Red chili powder and Masala paste 8. Mix well and add all rest spices ( Cumin, Coriander
, Turmeric , Garam Masala, Goda Masala ) 9. Let it cook for 10-15 min 10. Add water and cook for another 15-20 min 11. Add salt and mix Curry is ready 12. Take boiled eggs and give little cuts on 3 sides 13. In another pan add little oil and chili powder 14. Add eggs and stir for sometime and take out 15. One of the easiest Chutney and you can have this with Idli, Vadas, Dosas or Sandwiches
Ingredients - - 1 Cup Grated Coconut ( Fresh or Frozen ) - 1/4 Cup of Split Dry Chana Dal - 3-4 Green Chilies - 2 Garlic Cloves - Salt - Pinch of Sugar ( Optional ) - 1/2 Cup of Warm Water
1. Add Coconut , Chana Dal , Green Chilies, Garlic, Salt, Warm Water , Sugar 2. Grind it to make paste 3. if you think its too Thick add little more water 4. Take out it in Bowl 4. Preparations -
1 Cup Any Dal I used Moong Dal you can use Toor Dal or Mix of Moong and Toor or Masoor Dal Pressure Cook this dal with water and keep it ready. Add Tamarind in water and let it soak for 5-10 min and squeeze tamarind and throw tamarind waste and keep water
Process -
1. In a Hot pan add Oil 2. Add Mustered and Cumin seeds 3. Once crackled add Dry Red Chili , Garlic , Fenugreek seeds and Curry leaves 4. Then goes All Veggies and Spicecs ( Red Chili powder , Turmeric Powder , Coriander Powder, Sambar Powder ) 5. Add Tamarind Water , Salt and Jaggery 6. Add Water to cook Vegetables and let it cook for 15-20 min with Lid 7. Then Add Pressure cooked dal and mix well 8. Then let it cook for another 15-20 min and stir 9 Serve :)
Its Very famous recipe for breakfast and we like Green chillies and Crispy bites in our vadas hence i add them with Coconut Flakes too. Please see below details receipe for Vadas. You can have Vadas with Chutney and Sambar also i have Provided link for Sambar and Coconut Chutney too. Usually some people use Vada machine to make vadas and some plastic sheet but i use my hand to make vadas quick and easy and no cost :)
Ingredients
- 3 Cup Udal Dal ( Split black gram dal ) - 2-3 Choppes Green chillies - 1/4 Cup Coconut flakes - 1/4 cup Chopped Onions - 8-9 Black paper - 2 tsp Salt or as per your taste - Pinch of Soda - 4 Cup Oil for Frying
Preparations -
Soak Udal in water for minimum 4-5 hour or usually i keep it overnight so morning i can prepare vadas
Process -
1. I have used Grinder for grinding Dal 2. Put Dal in Grinder in small batches and make thick paste
3. Take Paste in bowl and add Chilies,Coconut flakes, Black paper, Onions 4. Before making Vadas add Salt and Pinch of soda and mix well 5. Heat Oil in Pan on medium heat 6. Dip your fingers in water and take small portion of Vada mixture 7. Make round shape and make whole in center like shown in picture also you can see video in down of this blog

Ingredients
2 Medium Size Chopped Potatoes ( aloo ) 1 Medium Size Tomato 1 cup Mutter
1 tsp Garlic and Ginger paste 1 cup Chopped Onion 3-4 Curry Leaves 1 tsp Cumin and Mustered seeds 1 Tbsp Oil ( Any oil ) i used Vegetable Oil 1 tsp Red Chili powder or as per spice level ( 1 tsp is for Medium level ) 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Goda Masala
Process
1. In a Pan Add oil 2. Once oil heated add Cumin and Mustered seeds 3. Add Curry Leaves 4. Then Ginger and Garlic paste 5. Stir and add Onions 6. Once Onions are brown add Tomatoes 7. Add all Spices ( Red Chili , Turmeric , Coriander Powder and Goda Masala ) 8. Mix well and let it cook for 2 min 9. Add Potatoes and cook for another 1 min 10. Add Mutter 11. Cover it and let it cook for 5 min 12. Add Salt 13. then cook until Potatoes cooked completely around 5-7 min
14 Then you can serve this with any Paratha, Chapati , Bread or Rice.
3 Cup Coconut 2 Cup Milk 1 Cup Sugar 1 tbsp Almond Powder 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder Pinch of Saffron 2 Tbsp Milk 2 tsp Ghee
Process
1. Add 1 tsp Ghee in pan on medium heat
2. Add Coconut and roast until little brown
3. Add Milk
4. Let mixture thicken 5. Add Almond and Cardamom powder 6. Heat 2 Tbsp milk and Saffron to it 7. Add Saffron Milk to Mixture 8. Greece Plate 9. Take Mixture on plate and flatten with spatula
10. Make it flat 11. Mark lightly in shape you desire 12. Refrigerate at least for 30 min or until it set
3. Microwave it for 2 min and then 4. Strain using strainer
5. Take out peanuts in plate and spread 6. On medium heat Microwave for 2 min 7. take out and give it a stir 8. Repeat process with 1 min time for 2 times 9. Check if peanuts are still soggy repeat process until peanuts are crispy
1 Cup Boiled and Mashed Potatoes 2 tbsp Butter 1/2 Chopped Onions 1/4 Cup Chopped tomatoes 1 tbsp Dabeli Masala 1 tbsp Chili powder 1 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tbsp Coriander powder 1 tsp salt Masala Peanuts 1/4 Cup Pomegranate 1/4 Grated Coconut Coriander leaves 4-5 Paav Garlic Red Chili chutney Date and Tamarind chutney 1/4 Cup Fine shev
Preparations for Dabeli Mixture -
1. Add Butter on pan and once heated add Onion 2. Once Onions are brown add tomatoes 3. Once tomatoes cooked add Dabeli Masala, chili, turmeric and coriander powder 4. Add water 5. Mix well and add Potatoes 6. Add salt and Mix well 7. Take out in a container and prepare it by adding more Onions, Masala Peanuts , Pomegranate , Coconut and coriander leaves 8. At last add Red cherries to give it a look

1. Take Pav and Cut a little to make pocket apply both Chutneys each side
